By accessing our website, booking a session, or utilizing our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Nature of Service & Non-Medical Disclaimer

1.1 Core Definition: DLA is an advanced academic and strategic consulting service grounded in Discourse Analysis and Lacanian Psychoanalysis. The service is designed exclusively to assist highly analytical individuals in deconstructing the underlying logic of behavioral stagnation and providing structural action blueprints.

1.2 Non-Clinical Nature: The Analysts at PsyCode Studio are not registered medical practitioners, clinical psychologists, or psychiatrists in Hong Kong. DLA does not constitute, and shall not be construed as, medical diagnosis, clinical psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, or any form of medical advice.

1.3 Not a Substitute for Professional Treatment: DLA is not intended to replace or substitute professional healthcare. If you are currently receiving psychiatric or clinical psychological treatment, or suspect you may be suffering from any clinical mental health condition as defined in the DSM-5 (e.g., severe depression, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders), you must seek the assistance of a qualified medical professional.

2. Client Responsibility & No Guarantee of Results

2.1 Execution of the Analytical Blueprint: The DLA Analyst functions as an "Underlying Logic Decoder," providing precise strategic coordinates and an exit strategy through systemic auditing. However, you acknowledge and agree that the ultimate responsibility for executing this "System Reboot" and implementing structural changes in your reality rests entirely with you.

2.2 No Guarantee of Results: Due to the inherent complexity of human psychological mechanisms, PsyCode Studio expressly disclaims any guarantee or warranty that the DLA service will yield specific personal, professional, or relational outcomes. All decisions made and consequences arising from the application of the DLA blueprint are solely the responsibility of the client.

3. Crisis Management & Right of Termination

3.1 Scope Limitations: The DLA framework is strictly analytical and is not designed, intended, or equipped to handle acute psychological crises, suicidal ideation, or severe self-harming behaviors.

3.2 Termination and Referral: If, during the course of consultation, the Analyst assesses at their sole discretion that a client's condition falls outside the scope of DLA, or that the client requires urgent clinical medical intervention, PsyCode Studio reserves the absolute right to immediately terminate the service. In such events, we will advise the client to seek appropriate medical assistance, without incurring any legal liability or obligation for the uncompleted services.

4. Confidentiality & Data Handling

4.1 Strict Confidentiality: We highly value your privacy. All verbatim transcripts, personal narratives, and analytical content shared during the consultation process will be kept strictly confidential and utilized exclusively for the purpose of DLA systemic decoding and strategic design.

4.2 Statutory Exceptions to Disclosure: We shall not disclose your confidential information to any third party without your explicit authorization, subject to the following legally mandated exceptions: (a) as required by the laws of Hong Kong or a valid court order; or (b) if we maintain a reasonable belief that you pose an imminent threat to the physical safety of yourself or others.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Proprietary Methodology: The DLA analytical framework, operational models, visual diagrams, testing tools, and customized "Bespoke Action Plans" are the exclusive intellectual property of PsyCode Studio.

5.2 Prohibition of Unauthorized Use: Clients may not duplicate, reproduce, utilize for commercial purposes, publicly disseminate, or transfer the aforementioned proprietary materials to any third parties without the prior express written consent of PsyCode Studio.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the applicable laws of Hong Kong, PsyCode Studio, its founders, analysts, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of profits, career setbacks, or emotional distress) arising out of or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the DLA services and website content. Under no circumstances shall PsyCode Studio’s total aggregate liability to a client exceed the actual total fees paid by said client for the specific DLA service giving rise to the claim or dispute.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

The interpretation, validity, and performance of these Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising from or relating to these Terms or the DLA services shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
